People Want Your Services But Can’t Find You!

Let’s face it…

…We all want more customers.

I remember a couple years ago, I wanted to get a professional wax.

Trust me, in my younger years I had tried the do-it-at-home experience and needless to say I swore off that for a while.

Eventually when shaving became a daily annoyance I thought why not try it again but this time professionally.
So guess what I did, I opened my browser (didn’t have smart phones back then) and searched for ‘esthetician in halifax’.

This is similar to what I saw…

I gave the first company a call and booked an appointment…

…a couple of thousands of dollars later I have done my eyebrows by electrolysis & got on laser hair removal bandwagon.

Turns out I never did like waxing 🙂

So how does this relate to your business…

Well if you customer searches for your services and can’t find you…

…you’ve lost that customer. Painful but true.

The good news is most companies don’t know how simple this is to change.

*drumroll please*

All you need to do is set-up a Google + page.

And here are 3 good reasons why:

  • It’s really easy to set-up
  • It’s FREE
  • You don’t need to hire a professional

Now lets be realistic…

I’ve been in the marketing business for a LONG time and just because you have a Google + page doesn’t mean you’ll become the #1 listing.

BUT…

Too many times I’ve seen that as a good enough reason not to take the time to set it up.

The goal is to be one of the top three spots but in the meantime these are some of the positive side effects you can enjoy right away:

  • Build brand awareness
  • Provide contact details for brand searches
  • Have customers leave you positive reviews
  • Own the top spot for brand searches

To summarize:

Get on Google + and get your customers and get your customers to leave you good reviews.
